Confirmation
Confirmation is not just a Lutheran tradition. It's the time in a child's life when they start learning the basic foundations of the Lutheran faith through Luther's Small Catechism and the Bible. Through this process they will deepen their faith, affirm their baptismal covenant, and be able to better answer a few questions:
What does the church teach?
Do I believe it?
Why do I believe it?
What difference should it make in my life?
After they struggle with and answer these questions they will make a public statement of faith before God and the congregation. See the Confirmation pages for more information and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs).
